The Green Bay Packers, founded in 1920, are an original National Football League team. Green Bay is a small city in the US mid west. The team has played in many different stadiums, both in Green Bay and Milwaukee. In Milwaukee the Packers played at Borchert Field, then State Fair Grounds, then Marquette Stadium before moving to County Stadium In Green Bay, they started at Hagemeister Park, then a high school field at Bellvue Park. Bellvue was transformed into City Stadium which in turn became legendary Lambeau Field. Legendary Lambeau has grown and grown. Other stadiums have adapted and improved. Many have undergone major renovations with new ownership.

Hockey originally played out in the cold on an open sheet of ice has changed the most. First came standard sized rinks. Then pavilion roofs, but still unheated. Soon heat was considered a good thing in the original six cities. Now the ice boxes are completely climate controlled, The exteriors are renewed, often with screens for outdoor community viewing. The roofs can be giant billboards too. They are often found in very warm places too.
