Who? You love horses. You want to draw horses. You have tried but the subject keeps moving! You are frustrated.. You know you can do it, but just don’t know how.
What? Just Horses is drawing skills for beginners. Exploration for intermediate artists yearning to express themselves with the horse and its rider as subject. Professional critique for advanced visual artists may be approaching horses for the first time.
Why? Life drawing is more than people, it’s all live models. Horses and their people together are fascinating challenging subjects, a lifelong project.
How? Nola McConnan aoca aestc, one of Canada’s most respected equine artists and art teachers, provides clear lessons, critique and guidance. There is lot’s of individual attention in a supportive small group setting. Learn to express yourself with a variety of wet or dry mediums. NO oil or acrylic.
Where? In Toronto/GTA Sunnybrook Stables and its sister site The Riding Academy at the Horse Palace.
When? Just Horses will be start again in September 2011 for a six week fall session Mondays or Fridays 12 noon to 3 p.m.
For safety reason class size is limited. Each participant receives lots of individual attention.
