Dogs and cats are personalities. Most dogs more or less co-operate with their people. Cats are a different matter; catch them while they’re asleep, or they’ll walk away even as they sneak a glance.
Challenge: capture personalities, coats and correct physiques, everything requires careful observation and different skills. Skeletons, which dictate outcomes, are radically different according to species and breed. Coats come in all sorts of textures and lengths. A whippet’s precise coat tells a lot about its skeleton. A mass of fluff leaves a lot to imagination, believable only when the skeleton is correct.
